You don't have to struggle in silence anymore...

Hi, I'm Stephanie Clubb — a St. Louis therapist for anxiety & burnout, narcissistic abuse, & trauma.

If you've landed here, something has probably felt off for a while. Maybe you're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix. Maybe you keep pushing through, but the list never gets shorter and the relief never quite comes. You're in the right place.

Who I Work With

You might be a good fit if any of this sounds familiar.

My clients are smart, capable people who are really good at taking care of everyone else and not so good at taking care of themselves. They're usually the person others lean on. The one who holds it together. The one who says "I'm fine" when they're really not.

Whether you're a caretaker running on fumes, the go-to person who can't slow down, or someone who's been people-pleasing so long you've lost track of what you actually want — I get it. And I can help.

A brick building with a painted message reading “How are you, really?” on the side — used by a St. Louis therapist to evoke reflection and emotional awareness.

How I Work

Therapy that meets you where you are

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions with me are warm, collaborative, and active. I won't make you feel judged for where you are, and I won't push you faster than you're ready to go.

"I want you to leave each session feeling a little lighter than when you walked in — and a little more like yourself."

Trauma-Informed

Everything we do is shaped by an understanding of how past experiences live in the body and mind.

Whole-person Focused

You're not just your symptoms. We'll look at the full picture: your patterns, your relationships, your history, your hopes.

Practical & Grounded

Insight matters, but so does change. We'll work on real tools you can use outside the therapy room.

No Pressure, No Performance

You don't have to show up polished or put-together. Just show up. That's enough.

"I know what it's like to hold the world on your shoulders while you're disappearing underneath it."

My Story

I've been where you are.

There was a chapter in my life where I was at my dream job, but inside I was unraveling. I kept doing everything I was supposed to do — showing up, seeking support, practicing self‑care — but 6 months in, my mental health worse than ever. I was used to pushing through hard times, until suddenly I couldn’t anymore.

I had to get honest with myself. I stepped back for the first time instead of pushing forward, and it forced me to face some difficult truths. That period became a kind of wandering, putting one foot in front of the other even when I didn’t know where it would lead.

Despite all of that, I held onto my belief in resiliency — the ability to recover from the dark places that life can take you. That’s where the idea of Wander and Rise Wellness came from. It reflects my own recovery and the work I now do with people who are struggling.

Expertise Born from Real Rooms and Real Stories

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years in the field, I’ve sat with people on some of the hardest days of their lives. Areas I've worked in include:

Domestic Violence — Advocacy work inside shelter, courtrooms, and the community, walking alongside survivors as they found their footing again.

Crisis Hotline — Supporting people in their most vulnerable moments, providing immediate care for domestic and sexual violence survivors.

Schools — Working with children and youth as a school-based therapist, meeting kids where they were and helping teachers along the way.

Medical Settings — Sitting with patients & families in a high-risk pregnancy clinic, ICUs, and chronic disease care, where the stakes are always high.

The Long Way Here

Nearly 20 years, two states, and some of the hardest rooms I've ever been in — all of it shapes how I show up for you.
